How to Add a Pet Profile

Pet profiles are the foundation of Pet Vault. Each profile stores your pet's information, health records, and daily care history.

Adding a New Pet

1. Go to the Pets page from the main menu
2. Click "Add Pet" or the + button
3. Choose your pet's species (dog, cat, bird, reptile, fish, small mammal, other)
4. Enter your pet's name
5. Upload a photo by clicking the photo area (optional)
6. Fill in the details: breed, birthday, weight, gender, microchip number
7. Click "Save" to create the profile

Profile Information

You can include as much or as little information as you like. Here's what you can add:

1. Basic Info: Name, species, breed, birthday, gender
2. Physical: Weight, color/markings
3. Identification: Microchip number, registration info
4. Medical: Allergies, chronic conditions, special needs
5. Notes: Any additional information about your pet

Editing a Pet Profile

To edit an existing pet profile:

1. Go to the Pets page
2. Click on the pet you want to edit
3. Click "Edit Profile" or the pencil icon
4. Make your changes
5. Click "Save"
