- Payment Information: When you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
- Communications: When you contact us for support, we collect your email and the content of your messages

When you use our Service, we automatically collect:
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interactions with the Service
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution

2.3 Information from Third Parties
If you sign in using Google or Apple authentication, we receive basic profile information (email, name) from those services. We do not receive or store your passwords from these providers.

- Cloudinary: Image storage and optimization for pet photos
- Stripe: Payment processing for Premium subscriptions
- Resend: Email delivery for notifications and reminders
- Vercel: Web hosting and deployment

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes.
Pet data, health records, and activity logs are retained as long as your account exists. You can export your data at any time using our export feature.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including:

- Household-level data isolation (your data is segregated from other households)
- Regular security assessments

8. Your Rights and Choices
8.1 Access and Export
You can access your personal information through your account settings. You can export your pet data as PDF or JSON at any time, even on the Free plan.
8.2 Correction
You can update or correct your account information and pet data directly within the Service.
8.3 Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. This will permanently delete all your personal information, pet data, and records. This action cannot be undone.
8.4 Communication Preferences
You can manage your notification preferences (email, push, SMS) in your account settings. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
